    InDesign 2019 / Mojave

    If we do some larger mergings (8.000 records, export to PDF) in one document, MyDataMerge aborts after a longer time with “unknown error”.

    The InDesign-Document is done, but the replacing of #SPACE# isnt done. See image:

    If we do the merge in a batch of 3.000 records, truncated by 1.000, after the first 1.000 records MyDataMerge stops with a communication-timeout. So we raised the ID-timeout to 250 seconds – then it worked.

    Doing a second run, lets say now from 3.001 to 6.000, MyDataMerge crashes.

    If we do the merge manual in steps by 1.000 records – without raising the timeout, all went well. Doing further manual 1.000 records -> no crash.

    Good news. We could reproduce the issue(s) with the crashes and hope to be able to deliver an update soon.

    Meanwhile try to reduce the amounts of documents created in one run.

    Good news. Bug is identified and fixed. An update will be delivered this week once all tests did run successfully.

    In addition to fixing these bugs we’ve added the mentioned book feature to keep the merge of large amounts as fast as possible.

    The update is live (1.4.5.1) and includes the mentioned fixed. It also includes a fix for the #SPACE# issue.
