Please let us know if you have the latest version of InDesign and MyDataMerge installed.
Additionally please open the project, got to the MyDataMerge Menu > File > Package
Choose Zip and then progress until you have a packed zip. Send it to support@toolboxcode.com and we’ll have a look at it.

We have replaced the font as it wasn’t included. Your whole setup is correct and it exported to JPEG flawlessly. I can send you the 12 files (even if its the wrong font now).
It’s pretty hard to debug if we can’t reproduce it.
- Try checking if any anti-vir apps like Bitdefender are running and allow MyDataMerge to access Files – or deactivate it temporarily for testing reasons.
- Try restaring InDesign
- Try restarting the machine (this clears caches) without having the checkbox selected in the shutdown dialog
Can you point it to a specific file/record where it stops?

I don’t have any anti virus apps, tried to restart indesign and the iMac and it still is not working.
It won’t even start, i tried different export ranges.Yesterday morning it worked fine.
2022-06-10 at 9:45 am #16908PatStaffHi there,
so let’s focus:
- Does MyDataMerge not start OR the export?
- What if you unselect JPEG and only keep export to InDesign – does this work or won’t any export work?
- Can you change the TARGET folder of your export and make sure you don’t select a folder on the desktop or a connected network drive
Regards, Pat

2022-06-10 at 9:53 am #16909Sjors LaarveldMemberHi Pat,
1. It’s the export that won’t go any further than 8% and then keeps on hanging there…
2. Al the other extensions like; .indd. or .png work just fine and don’t give problems.
3. Changed the target folder to the documents folder, same problem.Sjors
2022-06-11 at 8:28 pm #16910PatStaffPhew.
- Please try to replace the font (as this is what we did on loading the file – as we don’t have your font).
- Please check if the target folder is empty and no older exports are there
We cannot reproduce it. One none of our machines. I don’t want to raise hopes – im out of ideas. I will pass it to the developers if they might have an idea on whats up.

It is working again.
The only thing I changed is uncheck a option in InDesign when exporting to .jpeg

Still I will record this behaviour if others have the same issue in future
