Google Sheets or Airtable would be amazing, and grabbing images from URLs would add so much functionality to InDesign.

Images from URLs is possible right now :) let me know if you need more info.
You can export your Google sheet or Airtable to csv and import it. Direct connection isn’t possible at the moment.
