Applicable situations

• You have a layout document with one ore more pages and want to create one document per data record
• You have a layout document with one ore more pages and want to merge all data in one document

Setup your document

This is the most common and easiest way to merge and you can just import your layout file once you’ve prepared every placeholder.

A note on spreads

If you want to merge ALL records in a single document with multi-paged spreads you should select „Keep spreads together“ option in Adobe® Indesign®.
