    Hi!

    I’m working on an project with Mydatamerge where I have to add a specific (from a datasource) rollover label onto an image. I wonder if this will be possible with Mydatamerge?

    The blue squares are images. I want to put a label on the images sort of like you move your cursor over a link. Only in this case with the label but without the link.

    Sorry, the wrong image.

    Every image has their own label text from the datasource (Excel doc).

    Do you want the label to pop up once the mouse is over the image? This doesn’t work at all in InDesign (at least i have never seen this function in e.g. a PDF)

    Or is this just a look-a-like so the label is always there?

    This doesn’t work at all in InDesign (at least i have never seen this function in e.g. a PDF)
    I looked it up and I think it can be done by the use of the functions of Buttons in Indesign or with the use of layers and Buttons in a Pdf.
    I have seen some examples on youtube but I cannot post them here somehow.
    But it takes a lot of manual actions and I don’t think it  can be easily integrated and being automated with Mydatamerge and a datasource right?
    The “show label on rollover” feature would have been a nice extra little feature in this project but it is not a necessity. Maybe I should just let it be for now.
    It would have been nice extra feature for the reader to show where every symbol stands for like a popping up explanatory legend of a map.

    Thank you for your reply. The rollover show label function could have been an nice extra feature but is not a must have in the project i’m working on. Thanks for the support and looking into it.
