sorry for the late reply. We’re low on staff (vacation + corona) at the moment.
This is not possible directly with MyDataMerge as it can only format the full data coming from your datasource. But you can solve this by using Grep styles in Indesign.
Shortly explained: You add a Grep style that looks for your keyphrases like “Important news” and let InDesign apply a bold styling automatically.
