Hi, i have a booklet with 44 pages. When i merge 50 records i get 2200. This makes InDesign incredibly slow.
Can i split up documents so i get each booklet as its own file?
AND: Can i get files containig 5 booklets each? so for 50 records i get 10 files?

yes, both is possible
For the first one just select “One document per record” in the export section > Filetype.
For the second one select “Custom records per document” in the export section > Filetype and enter “5” in the text field.
That’s should do it.

First runs smooth.
The second one gives me a warning that i have too many pages. What does that mean?
2019-02-04 at 1:05 pm #7211PatStaffHey Colminer,
whenever a merged document contains more than 80 pages, this warning appears. As your document contains 5 x 44 pages, this warning pops up. It’s just to notify the user that InDesign might get slow merging a lot of pages in one document. You still can run it.
