    Getting an error message while uploading INDD file. Indesign doesnt show any errors on document. “An internal error appeared. Please try to open the layout file in Adobe InDesign® directly and check if that works. If this error persists, please contact our support.

    Any solution?

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    First of all check if you have the newest version if MyDataMerge (go to Menu > Check for updates)

    Second do a complete restart of your system (without checking “reopen windows/applications”)

    Try to open the document in InDesign and keep it open before you drop it in MyDataMerge.

    If that doesn’t work please reproduce the issue and right after the error pops up go to menu > help > send feedback. Paste your name from the forum here in the comments field and make sure the checkbox is ticked. This way we’ll receive error logs and check these out.
