    I am constantly getting this error code when trying to import the inDesign and Excel files. I have run through using the wizard to ensure I am doing everything correctly, and still getting the error.

     

    MyData Merge couldn’t open a file.

    Error Code 404200

    Please restart your mac. Do NOT tick the checkbox in the shutdown dialog.

    Your suggestion to restart the MacBook worked at the time. However, today I am attempting another project, and getting the same error message. Restarting the computer is not doing anything this time around, either. I’m just getting the same error message.

    Please do the following

    Right after the issue appears, send us Feedback:

    • Go to Menu > Help > Send Feedback
    • Enter a name, email and some text
    • Tick the checkbox to send us the log files (important!)

    Then we can see what’s causing the error forcing you and help you.
