    I’m creating a large number of PDFs, which were running smoothly all afternoon yesterday and this morning, but have suddenly stopped, and I can’t get the software to create any new PDFs.

    Looking at the log, the message reads:

    11-03-2021 17:21:29 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf
    11-03-2021 17:21:59 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf
    11-03-2021 17:22:39 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf
    11-03-2021 17:23:10 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf
    11-03-2021 17:23:40 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf
    11-03-2021 17:24:23 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf
    11-03-2021 17:25:46 > Wait for file to be created: /Users/joeknapton/Desktop/Part-1-Brochures/alucraft_systems.pdf

    Any idea what might be happening?

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    When you say “can’t get the software to create any new PDFs.” do you mean:

    You stopped the process an re-tried? Did you retry with that specific record or any other?

    If so what happened? Any error message? Did you restart both MyDataMerge AND InDesign?

    If you did none of the above mentioned please do so and report back.

    If the process gets stuck again then please use Menu > Help > Feedback and send us feedback with checkbox ticked.

    Other thoughts:

    If you have such a long running process did the machine go to sleep?
