    how do i need to prepare my document for inline merge functionality? It’s always greyed out.

    Hi Meri,

    The whole process is illustrated in MyDataMerges Help Files, check the menu > help and look for Inline merge.

    Here in short:

    Layout document:

    • 1 Page only
    • 1 Textframe only
    • Put whatever you like to be repeated inside that group. This can be either pure text OR a group of different elements (copy and paste it into the frame)
