    Hello,

    Everything has been working fine, and suddenly with some additional data in a new excel sheet (same excel file and same indd template file), I am getting the following error;

    Internal error: Could not merge data records. If this error persists, please contact our support.

    I have submitted feedback via the help menu, would really appreciate your assistance in resolving the issue. It happens right at the start of the ‘data merge in progress’ progress bar.

    Hi Caitlin

    first of all make sure you have the newest MyDataMerge version installed. Do this by opening the MyDataMerge menu > Check for updates.

    We have recently fixed an image issue. Before you continue, try that!

    If the error still pops up let me explain it to you (we have looked into your submitted error log). It seems you have a placeholder called @image. At one point, Adobe InDesign does not accept the image delivered and responds with a (generic) error. This causes the error you have seen.

    It seems like either one file you have is not liked by InDesign or it cannot be reached (e.g. on a network volume not connected).

    Could you check this out?

    Thanks Pat, the issue was resolved with an update!

    I didn’t think to try updating since other data had been working. Appreciate the quick response!
