I got the program to work perfectly once, but when I went to replace the item description column with new records in my csv file, all of a sudden it can only read 7/84 records. If I remove the item description and replace it with something generic like Product 1, Product 2, etc. I can get the program to recognize all 84 records. I’ve tried copying the information straight from the excel file I got it from and also copying it then pasting as values but nothing seems to get it to recognize all 84 records. I even used the same files and replaced it with the 87 records where I got it to work perfectly the first time and it was fine but when I use new 84 records and do everything exactly the same, it won’t work. I’m not sure why it would work with some information but not others so any help would be amazing.

    Hi Morgan

Thank you for getting in touch! :)

If your datasource is a csv file then check for linebreaks in record no 7 in the description column

Csv files do not support linebreaks and may corrupt your whole data file if it contains one.

However if you use excel instead please let my know. Linebreaks are not an issue within excel (then it must be something different)

I checked for a linebreak and didn’t come up with anything. However when I deleted that entry and typed it in manually, it seemed to work. Any idea why that might be?

There potentially was a soft linebreak, a tab or any other character not supported inside of a CSV file. Not supported by CSV (!).

If you fixed ot im glad it works now
