    Hi,

    I’m trying to put data in my Indesign design, the autolink goes green and recognise the Placeholders. When I try to export it comes back with Autolink failed on all placeholders. Can someone help me fix this?

    Hi Niels

    please make sure you have updated to the latest version.
    Is it the log that opens? You can open each line in the log which gives you more info.

    Hi Pat,

    I have the latest version but need to upgrade again for a year.

    The log says that a placeholder reported error and then it says Autolink Failed.

    Hi Niels,

    you can open a log item multiple times (unfolding)
    Check out this help article: https://mydatamerge.com/knowledge-base/log/

    It will tell you exactly what is wrong. Usually it fails cause there is no data available.
