    Hello (again)…

    I’ve one base and 2 templates. The templates are quite the same : exactly the same mapping, but different size for the blocks.

    Is it possible to save or duplicate the mapping to use the same base on 2 (ore more) different templates using exactly the place holders ?

    Hi Titi and welcome aboard,

    Save your project as .mdm file.
    Then If you need to swap the layout file, load the project, go to the import section and drag & drop your new layout file. If the mapping is identical you can export right away.
    Additionally you might save it as another project.

    Well done ! I don’t what I’ve done, it does’nt work in my previous test. Perhaps the map was’nt exactly the same…

    If it isn’t exactly the same it will inform you on import which placeholders changed. Then you can manually work on them.
    If you need a short personal session on your project we do that for new customers to make the start for them more easy.

    I haven’t solved my problem with my reduced x4 format. I can’t figure out why. It’s a copy-paste from the other InDesign document… When can wu do our session ?
